HOW DO YOU HELP CHARITIES IN THE TRANSACTION?
We believe in giving back for the blessings and fortune we have received. Therefore, we have pledged approximately 10% of every agent’s commission check to be given to a charity of our client’s choosing. This comes out of our pockets, not our client’s. So why not add impact to the sale? That is one way we give back.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE AN AGENT WHO SPECIALIZES IN ADVISING PEOPLE WITH PETS?
Can you imagine your agent showing you a dream property just to find out you can’t bring your beloved Snickerdoodle, two Chihuahuas, Ragdoll cat, or Great Dane to live there with you? Of course not! In our opinion that would be the greatest disservice by an agent. For us, it comes down to a level of detail and understanding of your needs. This starts with excellent listening skills, asking the right questions, and verifying the policies of every property we show to our clients. In addition, when we sell your property, we make sure every buyer who walks in your door has been fully briefed on the pet policies. Why waste your time having to clean and vacate your home when the buyer may not be able to live there in the first place?
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A PET? CAN YOU STILL HELP ME?
We are happy to help anyone find or sell a home. Families come in different sizes and shapes. We have the industry experience and life training skills to pay close attention to our client’s needs, whether it be extra storage, a balcony, handicap accessible, heated parking for multiple cars, a lap pool for the swimmer enthusiast, a specific public school, proximity to public transportation, access to the lakefront, and more. We identify your priorities, your must haves and wishes, and just as importantly, we pay close attention to what you don't want.
WHO PAYS THE REAL ESTATE AGENT IN A TRANSACTION?
It is actually quite simple. 1) Buyers do not pay for our service. 2) Owners (Sellers) do pay the commission for the transaction. That commission is negotiable and most of the time gets split into four portions (two brokerages plus the two agents). We are on a commission payment system and only get paid after a sale is complete.
